In helpline industry, the service providers must have a broad reach to make meaningful impact. 1166 helpline did have a fair growth (over 2500 calls in a year) since becoming operational in May 2021, but the success wasn’t upto the expected mark. They had difficulty managing care seekers, counsellors, records and expanding reach.
The healthcare service was looking for a company that could build them a mobile application that allowed users and healthcare professionals to have confidential conversation through chat or direct calls. During an in-person meet up, LeanQ team impressed 1166 with their suggestions on core functionalities and ability to understand their industry’s peculiarities.
Our Solution
The LeanQ team started working on the project after thorough research. First, we offered guidance to the clients regarding the core functionalities they should target. After their approval, we created the first version of the mobile application through the agile method.
In its current version, the product provides two options for healthcare seekers to log in and communicate — anonymous or Facebook login and chat or call. It also has a separate section for blogs on mental healthcare. As for facilitators, the product has a secured dashboard and management system to maintain and record the network's operations. Besides that, we prioritized user experience and confidentiality measures to create a secure user-friendly interface.
Although the mobile application has helped in their digital transformation and outreach, further additions and support are still active for the betterment of 1166.
